Governing Body

The Governing Body of NF is a combination 6 member from various walks of life endowed with expertise in areas such as rural economy, rural sociology, socio-economic development, law, gender equity and tribal welfare. GB meets once in three months, reviews the activities and evaluates the progress vis-Ă -vis the objectives.

Secretary & Staff:

NF Secretary, Mr. Nanjundaiah has rich experience of working with tribal communities, especially the Jenukuruba, Bettakuruba, Soliga and Yerava. During the past 20 years, he has been involved in the tribal welfare activities, advocacy work, policy formulation processes at the state and national level. He has served in responsible positions at national level in various networks like CAPART, a government agency to fund rural development, Indian National Social Action Forum (INSAF), Adivasi Solidarity Council, Tribal Joint Action-Karnataka and Confederation of NGOs in Rural India (CNRI). He has now been serving as President of Federation of Voluntary Organisations (FEVORD) in Karnataka.

Having a post graduation in Sociology, Mr Nanjundaiah worked with the rural communities since he was 24 years old. His contribution through FEDINA – VIKASA to the tribal communities has been recognized in the location. Launching NF, he has concentrated and strengthened the organization’s focus on development of tribal communities.

NF staffs, now 8, have rich experience in tribal and rural development, natural resource management, microfinance, HRD, education and health. They have been in the field of development for the past 15 years. Each staff is capable of delivering extensively on these issues for the communities. NF has got an accountant with computer knowledge who has been working with it since its inception.
